C'est le premier oscilloscope acheté par ADRET du temps où la société se trouvait encore à Paris, rue Alphonse Penaud.

Roger Charbonnier avait chargé Michel Gérard de l'achat de deux Antarès. Roger Charbonnier a donné cet oscilloscope à Michel Gérard qui en a fait don au musée ADRET. C'est un oscilloscope à lampes.
